On the left hand side is an unused train ticket from October 28, 1931 between New York City and Arlington, Vermont. From the bottom to top it includes coupons for the New York Central RR from New York City to Troy, NY.
Then the Boston & Maine RR from Troy, NY to White Creek, NY. Then the Rutland Railroad from White Creek, NY to Arlington, VT.
One can still see a segment of the beautiful railroad bed of this last leg when hiking in Lake Shaftsbury State Park.
